- The FAD-4 is an auxiliary device for controlling pneumatic grips. It enables direct gripping without preload, preventing pre-stress on the specimen and ensuring accurate test results.
- The foot pedal switch, integrated with U70 and Leader operation system, triggers the solenoid valve for specimen gripping, supporting tests that switch between low initial speed and normal speed, ensuring the specimen is secured held and accurately tested with pneumatic grips.
-
Principle
The upper grip pedal is pressed to grip one end of the specimen, while the other end is held by hand without tension. The test begins at a low initial speed. Once the preset stroke is reached, the tester automatically grips the other end via the lower grip and switches to the normal test speed.
-

No-preload design
Grips specimen without pre-stress, preventing specimen deformation and ensuring accurate results.

Speed switching
Supports switching between low and normal speeds. Upon reaching the specified specimen position, the tester automatically switches to normal speed, ensuring both precision and testing efficiency.

Dedicated software
Integrated with U70 amplifier and Leader II testing software to provide stable signal transmission, rapid speed switching, and direct response in specimen gripping, ensuring reliable and long-term operation.

Hands-free operation
The foot pedal activates operation and frees both hands, simplifying specimen adjustment and reducing error.

Compact design
Measuring 300×200×200mm (W×D×H), the compact foot pedal switch is ideal for laboratories with limited workspace.

Flexible grip compatibility
Compatible with various types of pneumatic grips and flexible to accommodate different specimen gripping scenarios.
