    Principle

    A strip of coated fabric is mounted around two opposing cylinders, forming a cylindrical test piece. One cylinder reciprocates, compressing and relaxing the fabric to induce folds. The process continues for a predetermined number of cycles or until damage is visible.

    Wide applicability:

    Ideal for evaluating the performance of various of coated fabrics including waterproof, windproof, and UV-resistant fabrics used in athletic wear and gear.

    Climate simulation:

    Capable of replicating a range of environmental conditions including temperature and humidity to ensure accurate and reliable test results.

    Flexing test:

    Performs cyclic flexing on coated fabrics to assess their performance under compression and relaxing.

    Cylindrical-shaped specimen: 

    The coated fabric specimen is mounted between two opposing cylinders, forming a cylindrical shape to simulate strain in real-world applications.

    Motorized reciprocating system:

    With its precise motorized operation system, this tester allows specimens to be reciprocated at a controlled frequency and amplitude, ensuring consistent and repeatable test results.

    Durability evaluation:

    Records the total number of flexes at which coated fabrics show signs of damage through observation, providing an assessment of their durability and reliability.

    Allows operators to choose between counting or timing modes for flex testing, offering adaptability to different testing requirements.

    Touchscreen interface

    The intuitive and user-friendly touchscreen interface allows operators to easily set parameters and control the tester.

    Adjustable test conditions

    Offers adjustable temperature and humidity settings with both set values and real-time environmental conditions displayed in a chart format.
